Soothing Ocean Breath Meditation
Is there anything more soothing than the sound of ocean waves? 🌊
Did you know you can make the sound of the ocean waves with your breath and have the same soothing effect on your body!?
Today we will be practicing Ujjayi Breathing, AKA ocean breath - A yogi breathing technique to still the mind and increase mental clarity.
We do this by breathing in and out through the nose, while gently restricting the throat. By doing so, an ocean-like sound is created by the breath!
Rhythmic breath is mind-body-spirit medicine.
